How can I find an existing tiered service?
To search for an existing tiered service, follow these steps:
- From the Tiered Services dashboard, select Retrieve Tiered Services to see all active tiered services where you are the provider or alternate provider; or use the filters to narrow your search by Student, School, or Grade. Note that the Find Provider field is limited to the provider currently logged in. Admin users with access to multiple providers can filter by the providers they have access to. At least one filter must be selected to enable the Retrieve Tiered Services button.
- By default, search will retrieve only active tiered services. To include tiered services that have been ended, check the Include Inactive Tiered Services box, then Retrieve Tiered Services.
- To view a longer list, in the Tiered Services results header, select the Items per page drop-down list and select 10, 25, 50, or 100 to designate the maximum number of records displayed per page. Use the arrows at the bottom of the window to access the previous or next page.
- Search for the tiered service, then select the record.
Can I edit an existing tiered service?
As a provider, you can only edit tiered services where you are the provider or alternate provider. Therefore, if you don’t have edit access to a tiered service, the edit, clone, mark as done, and delete icons are not shown. However, you can still tap a record to display a read-only summary of the student’s tiered service.
To edit an existing tiered service, follow these steps:
- Search for the student or tiered service you want to change. (See Search for tiered service in the Lōkahi tiered services navigation guide.)
- Select the Edit icon to open display the Reason for Editing screen. After entering a brief explanation, select Next to proceed to the Edit Tiered Service window. Note that all changes are tracked and timestamped.
If you notice any error in student information, please contact the school administration.
What is mark as done?
Select the Mark as Done button when you are ready to end the Tiered Service. When a Tiered Service is opened with the Mark as done button, the End Date and Outcome fields are displayed and required to submit. All other fields, except Notes/Analysis are read-only in this view. Upon saving a tiered service with an End Date and Outcome, it will be marked as inactive. To include inactive tiered services when searching for records, remember to check the Include Inactive Tiered Services box.
To end an existing tiered service, follow these steps:
- Search for the student or tiered service you want to end. (See Search for tiered service in the Lōkahi tiered services navigation guide.)
- Select the Mark as done icon to open a modified view of the Edit Tiered Service window. When opened with Mark as done, the End Date and Outcome fields are displayed and required to submit. All other fields, except Notes/Analysis are read-only in this view.
If you notice any error in student information, please contact the school administration.
Why aren’t the edit, clone, mark as done, and delete icons displayed on a tiered service?
As a provider, you can only edit tiered services when you are the provider or alternate provider. Therefore, if you do not have edit access to a tiered service, the Edit, Clone, Mark as Done, and Delete icons are not shown. Also note that if there are session logs for a tiered service, the Delete icon will not be displayed. You can still click on a record to see a read-only summary of the student’s tiered service.
If you notice any error in student information, please contact the school administration.
Can I view other providers’ tiered services for my student?
To help with continuity of service, you may view all tiered services for any student that you have access to, including other providers’ tiered services.
How do I increase or decrease the number of session logs displayed per page?
On the Search Tiered Services results screen, select the Items per page drop-down list and select 10, 25, 50, or 100 to designate the maximum number of records displayed per page. Use the arrows at the bottom of the window to access the previous or next page.
Can I view tiered services I created in the past if I am no longer assigned to the student?
Only providers who are currently assigned to a student can view the student’s tiered services. Please contact the DOE help desk.
I accidentally deleted a tiered service. What should I do?
Deleted tiered services cannot be recovered. Recreate the tiered service by selecting + Add Tiered Service from the Tiered Services dashboard and entering the required information.
I noticed an error on my account or my student’s information. What should I do?
Please contact the school administration for errors in student information, and contact the DOE help desk for errors in your account.
